Hi, my name is Giancarlo Bianchi (better known as Jon-Jon), and I am originally from South Africa. I have been living in Feilding with my wife, Eucheriska and our dog, Lia since January 2020. I work at Livestock Improvement Corporation in Awahuri as a laboratory technician and my wife is a science teacher at FAHS. 
I am also a part-time sports photographer shooting local events around the Manawatu but during my spare time, love to explore and photograph beautiful landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand- I guess I came to the right country for earth’s natural beauty! 
I especially enjoy shooting astrophotography at the moment and I like to capture landmarks with the night sky. I do a style of nightscape photography called time-blending where I capture a scene in the evening and then at a later stage when the stars are out, capture the same scene with the sky detail and then blend the images together. The results can be somewhat interesting. I enjoy creating these images and am currently trying to build up a collection of all the Anglican churches of Oroua.
